With a BS in horticulture and nursery management from the University of Minnesota\, as well as recognition as a Certified Nursery/Landscape Professional and a Fellow of the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association\, Dave brings a wealth of expertise to this session. \nIn this lecture\, Dave will cover critical topics such as managing the threat of Emerald Ash Borer\, lessons learned from Dutch Elm disease\, and how these experiences highlight the importance of biodiversity in species selection. These insights are invaluable for anyone who wants to maintain the health and vitality of their trees while promoting a resilient landscape. \nThe lecture will last approximately 30 minutes and will be followed by a 30-minute open Q&A session. Bring your questions along with your name and phone number on a slip of paper.
