In honor of our 90th anniversary, Sargent’s Nursery is excited to give back with the Red Wing Marina Legacy Project creating a beautiful space for all to enjoy. While this project is valued at over $30,000, this is just a small token of our appreciation to the community for their love and support over the last 90 years. Work on the design in partnership with the City of Red Wing began earlier this spring and resulted in the following plan for the space.
Once the project was finalized and approved it was time to get to work! Despite the rainy weather, installation began the second week of October as our crews installed some of the flagstone pavers and planted the five oak trees. The bulk of the plantings will be completed in Spring 2019 when most hardy perennial varieties will be available again.
