Gardening is by no means limited to planting directly in the ground.  You can make a container out of just about anything and plant in it. All you really need is good drainage and quality container soil to get started and you can grow tomatoes, peppers, pole or bush beans and even cucumbers in a container.  Select compact plants or provide support for climbing varieties.  Regular water and fertilizer will give you fresh, delicious veggies this summer.  All vegetable plants are now only $.99 and garden seeds are 50% OFF.

Maybe some of you recognize the galvanized tubs in this photo.  They were full of beautiful greens, cones and large birch branches during the holidays just outside our entry.  We moved them back to our bagged goods area and filled them with cherry tomatoes, peppers, herbs, cucumbers and more for us to enjoy this summer.
