Even though the temps the last week have made is seem like nearly summer Sunday, March 20 is the first official day of spring. Everyone at Sargent’s is busy getting ready for the coming growing season. By early April look for pansies, bulbs for planting, onions sets and seed potatoes. In mid-April fruit trees, trees, shrubs, evergreens and asparagus roots arrive. By early May the water plants arrive and depending on the weather, summer annuals will start making an appearance along with beautiful, tropical plants. Remember we have a good chance of frost until about May 15. Happy Spring!
